Snow Day

Can you believe it .. snow in Alabama!! The weather man predicted several inches of snow here in Auburn, Alabama and we are actually getting snow and lots of it!! Addison and I went outside this afternoon and attempted to build a snowman ... I wasn't really prepared to build a snowman so I had to make do with my surroundings. We plan to go back out later today and "fix" our snowman!

Addison's first time ever in the snow! We are so happy she got to experience snow before she turns a year old! Do you think maybe this could be an annual event? That would be nice for Addison to be able to enjoy playing in the snow when she gets older.

This is the snowman that I attempted to build for Addison .. not such a great job, but it will do!
Addison looks so happy with her little snowman!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Playdates

Addison had a few playdates this past month. We had some friends over for dinner one night and Addison got to play with their little girl, Emma. Another day we were helping out a friend and picked up their son, Luke, from school and he spent the afternoon with us playing with Addison. We had so much fun with our playdates and hope to have more soon!

Donuts with Daddy!

Addison's school had a "Donuts with Daddy" day at the end of January. Danny and Addison enjoyed eating some donuts from D-Squared Donuts in Auburn .. they are the next best thing to a Krispy Kreme donut. This was Addison's first time eating donuts and she loved them! Here are some pictures from the day below.

School Days

Addison has started daycare this year. She is only going 3 days a week, but loves playing with the other children in her class. Since starting school, she has now learned to crawl with her tummy off the ground and is pulling to a standing position. Some of the other kids in her class are walking so I'm sure it's just a matter of time before she picks up on that habit! This picture was taken one morning before leaving for school.
