Dancing to Elvis

We took Addison to the Summer Swing Concert at Monkey Park in Opelika last night. They had an Elvis impersonator singing and it was very entertaining. Addison enjoyed the music playing so much that she started dancing. She also played at the park a little bit ... swinging on the swings, sliding down the slide, and crawling through the tunnels.

Sweet Summertime

Ahh ... it's summertime! Time for the cool pools, beach trips, park trips, and just staying at home trips. So far this summer we have only made it to the cool pool at my sister's house. Addison absolutely loved being in the water. We spent a few days at the pool and it was so nice just to be able to relax a little. The pool in my sister's neighborhood has this "kiddie pool" that has the little fountains of water shooting up and Addison loved playing and splashing around in them. We definitely made sure we were bathed in sunscreen so we wouldn't get a nice little red color this summer. Hopefully in the near future of our summer this year we will be able to make it to the beach and the park ... if it doesn't get too hot!!

We had to take a juice break to replenish ourselves. Mmm .. that juice was good!

AU Baseball

We took Addison to an Auburn baseball game last month and she enjoyed watching the Tigers play! We didn't make it through the whole game, but we did make it 6 1/2 innings! When we first arrived at the game, they were handing out free sunglasses and sunscreen. Free stuff is always nice, so we gladly accepted the items. Addison had fun playing with the sunglasses even though they were a little big and didn't fit on her face too well. We even got to see Aubie at the game and like most little babies, Addison was afraid of Aubie. We still managed to get a quick picture with him and I do mean quick! I can't remember if the Tigers ended up winning or not, but as a family we had a great time!
